

Now looking to expand its user base, CD Projekt announced today that it would be augmenting its offerings with a pair of free games. Pining for a simpler time, CD Projekt launched its online retro-gaming store Good Old Games-or GOG.com-earlier this year, offering classics such as Fallout, MDK, Sacrifice, Freespace 2, and TOCA Race Driver 3 for a reasonable price, updated for modern operating systems, and 100 percent free of digital-rights-management software.


The PC gaming market has come under assault in recent years as much for piracy as the software implemented to stop it.
